Structureglobe is a blog-based website about built structures. A built structure refers to any large, man-made object permanently fixed to Earth’s surface, as a result of construction. These are divided into buildings and nonbuilding structures, and make up the infrastructure of a human society.
Each post contains a number of photos of a structure, and provides basic information about it. All posts are geotagged so you can see the exact location of the structure on a map. All this information is used to create a world map with a marker for every posted structure, providing an alternative navigating system for our data.
About the subscribers
In addition to simple visitors, subscribers (registered visitors), have the ability to
- rate structures
- vote to polls
- modify their profile
- adjust their e-mail subscription to their needs
If someone is really interested in participating to this project (e.g. by becoming an author), he/she can contact us, using the e-mail he submited in the registration form. He/she should first read the Terms of Service and accept them all, before communicating with us. We will try to examine his/her request and respond, as soon as possible.
